Jack E. Giberson

Jack Giberson of Woodstock, formerly of Somerville passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. He was born December 21, 1925 and was the son of the late Cecil and Idella (Shaw) Giberson. He was predeceased by his wife Edith Giberson; daughter, Sheila Giberson; grandchildren, Christopher Giberson, Sandra Giberson, Sarah Giberson; son-in-law, Harold Underhill; sisters, Verna Derrah, Flora Farstead, Lottie McConaghy.

Jack is survived by his children, Nancy (Blair) Shaw of London, ON, Donald (Beatrice) Giberson of Wakefield, Barbara Underhill of Wakefield, Aubrey (Elizabeth) Giberson of Ashland, Allen ( Marie) Giberson of Wakefield; grandchildren, Shane (Linda) Shaw, Chadwick (Josée) Shaw, Kimberly (Donald) Thomas, Rebecca Giberson, Hank (Kimberley) Giberson, Heather (Bobby) Clark, Brent (Patricia) Underhill, Katrina (Craig) Denby, Alisha (Ivan Green) Giberson, Jason (Roxanne) Giberson, Natasha (Mike) White, Justin (Amanda Corey) Giberson; great grandchildren, Stefanie Shaw, Amanda Shaw, Jean-Sébastien Shaw, Philippe Shaw, Marc-André Shaw, Patrick Shaw, Megan Thomas, Jack Thomas, Melissa Giberson, Naomi (Robert) Tappin, Jedediah Giberson, Nathanial Clark, Brandon Clark, Nicholas Clark, Brody Clark, James Underhill, Michael Underhill, Victoria Denby, Ashley Denby, Owen Green, Bryan Green, Kalan Legacy, Carter Giberson; sisters, Thelma Billings of Cloverdale, Frances Avery of Knowlesville, Mary (Bob) Trecartin of Hartland, Helen (Monte) Shaw of Simonds, Madeline (Dean) Paget of Windsor; brother-in-law, Charlie (Marilyn) Pratt of Newbridge; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Britton Funeral Home 2 High Street, Hartland on Tuesday, May 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Wednesday the 11th at 1:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. If so desired donations can be made to the Canadian Celiac Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association. www.brittonfh.ca
