Anna I. Hovey

Anna I. Hovey of Hartland, formerly of Peel, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born December 12, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Helen (Smith) Shaw. She was predeceased by her husband Lester; sons, Robert and Dana; grand daughter, Brittany Downey; brothers, Floyd Shaw, Blair Shaw and Adrian Shaw.

Anna is survived by her children, Linda (Allison) Smith of Saint John, Brian (Beverly) Hovey of Coldstream, Alan (Janet Whitehouse) Hovey of Moncton, Cathy (Lorne) Downey of Somerville, Patricia (Greg) Swim of Upper Brighton; grandchildren, Ryan (Katie Lloyd) Smith, Emily Smith, Adam Smith, Jessica Hovey, Olivia Hovey, Eric Hovey, Jordan Hovey, Nicole (Andy Kane) Hovey, Ashley Downey, Melissa Downey, Brandon Downey, Taralynn Champion, Megan Champion; great grandson, Asher Kane; nieces and nephews

Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Saturday 6- 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland with Rev. Michael Horsman and Rev. Harry Waugh officiating. Interment will be in the Harmon Cemetery in Peel. If so desired donations can be made to the Peel United Baptist Church. www.brittonfh.ca
