Ernest "Buster" H. Tombs

Ernest “Buster” Harold Tombs of Centreville passed away at home on Saturday, February 11, 2017. He was born February 10, 1924 and was the son of the late Ernest and Agnes Tombs. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Vivian (Collins) Tombs and four siblings, Agnes, Margaret, Doris and Ronnie.

Buster is survived by his children, Brian (Lorna)Tombs of Campbellford, Ontario, Judy (John) Morris of Centreville, New Brunswick, Susan (Pete) Damon of Vero Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Chris Tombs, Stephen (Shannon) Tombs, Jennifer Tombs, Tracey (Stephen) McCormack, Tara Morris, Howard (Chandell Lemieux) Damon, Crystal (Steve) Hudson, Keith Dore, Tammy Woodrow, Terry Dore; great grandchildren, Aiden Tombs, Emma Tombs, Ethan Tombs, Abigail Beck, Jack Beck, Tyson McCormack, Jessica Lajio, Keirsten Metz, Jaxon Hudson, Nola Hudson, Nicole (Jon) Woody, Kyle Lemieux, Kara (Dan), Kaitlyn Lemieux; great great grandchildren, Addison, Aubree, Alexis, Zander and Dominik; siblings, Gertrude, Benny, Robert, Lynn, Lynda, Richard and Barbara; nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Buster’s wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will held on July 1, 2017 at the Welcome O. Brown Cemetery in Barton, Vermont with Pastor Frederick and Carol Ann Barker officiating. Folowing the interment a reception will be held at Barton United Church, 15 Glover Road, Barton, Vermont..
