Harold Garfield Nevers
It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Garfield Nevers announces his passing at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the age of 80. Harold was the son of Gerald and Margaret (Swim) Nevers born August 13, 1937 in Victoria Corner, NB.

Harold will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 60 years (as of May 31, 2018) Lorraine Winnifred Johnston and their children; Greg Nevers (Teresa) of Hartland and their children Jaime Nevers, Scott (Terri) Nevers and Whitney (Matthew) Harrison; Jeff Nevers (Karen) of Deerville and their daughter Kaitlyn Nevers; Suzanne (Perry) Prosser of Mount Delight and their children Abigail (Nicholas) Tisdale, Andrew Prosser; and Kirby Nevers (Rebecca) of Lincoln and their children Nicholas Walton, Bradley Walton, Olivia Nevers; and great grandchildren; Bree Bourque, Jack Bourque, Layla Nevers, Tristan Tisdale, twins Leo Harrison and Oliver Harrison.

Harold is also survived by his brother, Clarence Nevers of Coldstream, NB and his five half-brothers, David (Pat) Nevers of NS, Ray Nevers of ON, Arthur Nevers of Woodstock, Robert (Kathy) Nevers of New Maryland and Granville Nevers of Woodstock, sisters in law, Nina (Gordon) Underhill, Eva (William) Howard, brothers in law, Blair (Lorraine) Johnston, Arthur (Sheila) Johnston and David Clowater , several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends!

Harold is predeceased by his twin brother Hayden Nevers, his mother Margaret Swim, his brother Frederick Nevers, his father Gerald Nevers and his sister Joyce Fogarty and his half-sister Clara Brewster.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home. Visitation and the funeral service will be held at the Hartland Wesleyan Church, Somerville, NB. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland.

By the request of the family in lieu of flowers all donations would be greatly welcome to be made to the Hartland Wesleyan Youth Group, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Upper River Valley Kidney Dialysis Unit.
