Yolande "Linda" Marie Duguay

Yolande “Linda” Marie Duguay passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at her home in Stanley. She was born November 7, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Louis and Isabella Duguay. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Gerald Duguay, Rheal Duguay, Charles Duguay, Rita McKay and stepson, Jeff Harrington.

Linda is survived by her spouse, Steven Harrington of Glassville; children, Melinda (Thomas) Brown of Fredericton, Cathy (Glen Polchies) Parker of Fredericton, Caroline (Kevin Buttle) Parker of Bathurst, Mary (Jason) Humble of Fredericton, Edward (Arlene) Parker of Nashwaak Bridge; special niece, Mona Leung; grandchildren, Bradley (Mica) Brown, Amanda Brown, Michael (Kim) Hunter, Robert (Tina Légère) Parker, Angela (Chris) Pitre, John Kennie, Cassidy (Thomas Melanson) Buttle, Shaun Firth, Alex Firth, Jacob Firth, Paige (Josh Allen) Parker, Ryan (Bekka Vermey) Parker, Kristen Parker; great grandchildren, Nica Brown, Aiden Brown, Zoe Brown, Stanley Brown, Cole Hunter, Ty Hunter, Evan Pitre, Peyton Kennie, Charlotte Melanson, Adelaide Allen; siblings, Leona (John Paul) LeBreton of Bathurst, Patsy (Mike) Fairley of Boiestown, Janet (Mike) McAloon of Fredericton, Peter (Mona Hache) Duguay of Nashwaak Village; stepchildren, Dwayne Harrington, Jonathan (Robin) Harrington, Florenceville-Bristol, Tina (Chad) Brown of Howard Brook; step grandchildren, Courtney Harrington, Kelsey Harrington, Caitlyn Harrington, Kristen Harrington, Cayden Harrington, Kayla (Jermaine Brosseau) Harrington, Bianca (Jeremy) Greer; step great grandchildren, Zachary Brosseau, Marissa Greer, Kaeson Harrington; father of Linda’s children, Gerald Parker of Nashwaak Bridge; mother of Steven’s children, Ronica Harrington of Lindsay Springs; nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been trusted to York Funeral Home, Fredericton and The Britton Funeral Home, Hartland. A Private Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 2 pm with Rev. Cn. Bonita LeBlanc officiating. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, the public is invited to view through our website at www.yorkfh.com Interment will be in Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery. The family would like to offer a special thanks to care worker Mica Brown, the Stanley Outreach workers, Extra Mural nurses, and the residing doctors at the Stanley Clinic for their exceptional care.
