Winfred Glass

Winfred Eugene Glass of Hartland, formerly of Victoria Corner, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born November 8, 1928 and was the son of Robert and Frances (Paget) Glass. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice (Day) Glass in 2001, an infant sister, Geraldine Glass and brother Wendell Glass.

Winfred is survived by a son, Mark (Sandra Green) Glass of Sisson Ridge, daughter, Stacy Tucker of Wakefield; grandchildren, Hunter Green-Glass, Summer Green-Glass, Spencer Green-Glass, Joshua Tucker; sisters, Rowena Perkins of Hartland, Kathleen (Lorne Hamilton) MacKenzie of Hartland, brother, Weldon (Vicki) Glass of North Bay, Ontario; sisters-in-law, Pat Glass of Bristol, Florence Day of Hartland, Ferne Seeley of Hartland, nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Wednesday, January 13th from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11 a.m with Rev. Jonathan London officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland at a later date.
