Roy Edward Wilson, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital, after a short illness, with his family by his side.

After graduating from Hartland High School Roy spent 5 years in the Royal Canadian Navy. He graduated from Forest Ranger School in 1964 and worked for NBEPC as an apprentice land surveyor. After obtaining his NB Land Surveyors License he moved back to Woodstock in 1971 and opened his own survey business , operating it until he retired in 2001.

Ten years ago Roy took up the game of golf and spent all summer on the Covered Bridge Golf Course. He was addicted!

He was a great Blue Jays fan and was so happy they were finally on a winning streak.

In keeping with Roy’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. A committal service will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery for family and close friends.

Thank you to Dr. Annette Anderson and all of the staff of 2 North at URVH for all of their wonderful care and support.
