Philip Howard Walton

Philip Howard Walton of Avondale passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. He was born July 15, 1940 and was the son of the late Norman and Edna Walton. He was also predeceased by his wife Helena Walton; partner, Sandra DeLong; sons, Terry Walton, Larry Walton; great granddaughter, Alayah Foster; son-in-law, Kevin DeLong; brother, Wesley Walton; brother-in-law, Carl Skaarup.

Philip is survived by his children. Gloria (Michael) DeLong of Wilmot, Rhonda (David) Hayes of Avondale, Tracy Delong of Fredericton, Philip Andrew Walton of Wilmot; grandchildren, Danielle (Duane) Foster, Ryan (Jessica Corey) Hayes, Aleisha Hayes, Kegan (Makayla) DeLong, Joshua (April Tompkins) Hathaway, Madalyn Walton, Austin Walton, Graysin Walton, Mackenzie Arsenault; great grandchildren, Lily Hayes, Fallon DeLong, Maverick DeLong, Ashton DeLong, Mylah Arsenault, Mekedah Arsenault; siblings, Phyllis Skaarup, Stella (Wilmot) Smith, Donnie (Elaine) Walton; sister-in-law, Evangeline Walton; nieces and nephews.

A private family visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, on Wednesday, September 29. 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. A private family funeral service will be at the Britton Funeral Home on Thursday the 30th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating. Due to COVID-19 government restrictions, and requirements of businesses, ID and proof of double vaccination will be required in order to attend the visitation and funeral. Masks are also required.
