Many will remember Brian as a very quiet and private man. He loved baseball and was a life long Yankee Fan. He loved playing golf with his favorite partner, Larry Whitehouse, and at one time played over 200 rounds a year. Brian attended UNB after high school and took business administration, returning to Hartland after graduation to work for 30 years at the family business, the Observer/Hartland Publishing. Brian played a key leadership role at work, often training staff to do their jobs and to adapt to new and innovative technology. He was everyone’s go to person.

After Brian and Anna were married they had three beautiful daughters that were the joy of his life. He was so proud of his girls. He enjoyed taking them for treats at Larry’s in Somerville, or the Bubble Gum Store, as the girls called it.

At Brian’s request there will not be any public visitation or funeral service. Brian and Anna were always very private people and would appreciate their continued privacy. Online condolences can be left at www.brittonfh.ca. The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DunRoamin' Stray and Rescue, as Brian always had a soft spot for animals.
