Ashley J. Harrington

After a courageous and hard battle with cancer, Ashley Joy Harrington, age 36, of Cloverdale, got her angel wings. She passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Hospice House in Fredericton. She was predeceased by her father, Allison Harrington in 2020; a sister, Pam Harrington; a brother, Lewis Harrington; and a very special aunt, Glenna Lawrence.

Ashley is survived by her mother, Jeannie Harrington of Cloverdale; siblings, Amanda (Randy) Doucette of Somerville, Adam (Tasha) Harrington of Newburg; nephews, Raylan Doucette, Winston Harrington, Walter Harrington; aunts, uncles, cousins, and her dog, Duke.

Ashley's greatest joy in life was her nephews and she will always have the title "World's Best Aunt." She loved her yearly trips to St. Andrews, which we surprised her with on her birthday in May, time spent with her nephews, Sunday lunch after church at Murray’s and shopping trips.

Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Cook officiating. The interment will be in the Briggs Cemetery in Cloverdale. Ashley’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rudy Stocek and Extra Mural Nurse, Krista, who have been with Ashley every step of the way. We so appreciate Hospice House who made Ashley’s last week special and comfortable. Thank you also to the Upper Brighton Free Will Baptist Church, Pastor Doug Cook, and our church family, who were always there for Ashley and our family.
