Lewis L. Hathaway

Lewis Lewellen Hathaway of Rockland passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock. He was born March 11, 1944 and was the son of the late Edna and Elijah Hathaway. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Winston Hathaway; brothers, Paul Hathaway, Charlie Hathaway, James Hathaway; sister, Dorothy (Cecil) Hawkes.

Lewis is survived by his daughters, Robin (Fred) Hayes of Bannon, Kim Newcombe of Perth, Australia; loved companion, Doreen Reid of Centreville; grandchildren, Matthew (Janice) Hayes, Nicholas (Courtney) Hayes, Ryan Hathaway, Desiree Foster, Brittany (Jordan) Sharpe, Brandi Sarchfield; great grandchildren, Brody, Kyra, Sophie, Cheyanne; brother, Henry (Annie) Hathaway of Bannon; sister, Irma (Weldon) Parsons of Hartland; sisters-in-law, Sheila Hathaway, Charlene Hathaway and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Friday, March 29th, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, March 30th, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Carl O’Donnell officiating. The interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Rockland at a later date.
