Susan A. DeMerchant
1966-2024
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Susan Demerchant passed away with her family by her side on April 21st 2024 at the age of 58 years.
Susan was born on March 9th 1966 to Shirley and Robert Johnson in Woodstock NB. Susan is survived by her chosen parents Phyllis (Gordie) Galbraith.
In 1981, Susan met Leroy in The Alley. Susan and Leroy went on to have 2 children, Melissa and Jason.
Susan was predeceased by husband Leroy Demerchant. Susan is survived by her two children, Melissa Demerchant and Jason (Morgan) Demerchant; grandchildren, Austin Demerchant, Abby Clark, Camryn Harrington, Sophia Myshrall and Leo Demerchant; sister, Wendy (Robbie) Cullins; brothers, Seth Johnston and Lucas Johnston; and by her chosen sisters, Bernice Trecartin and Debbie Rideout.
Keeping with Susan’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland.
