William D. Etherington
1951-2026
William "Willy" Daniel Etherington passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. He was born October 7, 1951, and was the son of the late Vincent and Jannette Etherington. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Karen Etherington; a son, Vincent Etherington; siblings, Doreen Mercier (Marshall), Edward Etherington, Josephine Ginson (Stanley), Elizabeth Campbell (Burley), Mark Etherington, Lucy Hawkes (James), Jackie Etherington, Thomas Etherington, Margaret Rose Etherington ; sister-in-law, Diane Etherington.
Willy is survived by his siblings, Christine Hamilton, Juanita Sprague (Lester), Arden Etherington,Tony Etherington (Christine), Alberta Etherington (Mike); sister-in-law, Linda Etherington; step-son, Garnet McKay (Julie Davidson); step-granddaughter, Hannah McKay; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, on Thursday, May 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. The Funeral service will be at the Britton Funeral Home on Friday, May 29th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating.
