Dalta J. MacDonald

Dalta Jean MacDonald of Lower Brighton passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born April 9, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Clair and Geraldine MacLean. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Trent MacDonald and Troy MacDonald (Sheri); brother, Blair MacLean; brothers-in-law, Gary MacKenzie and Benjie Cullins.

Dalta is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul MacDonald of Lower Brighton; children, Travis MacDonald (Edith) of Lower Brighton, Tammy Whitlock (Ron) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Jordan MacDonald, Brooke McHatten (Ryan), Tyler MacDonald (Megan), Damian "Brennan" Decarufel (Moriah), Marisa MacDonald, Claire MacKenzie (Chandler Tibbits); great grandchildren, Norah, Samara, Sydney, Lily, Lexie, Nikolai, Amelia, Gwendolyn, Jackson, Bennett; siblings, Donald MacLean (Louise), Darlene MacKenzie, Brian MacLean (Linda), Roger MacLean (Rosalie), Lorri Cullins, Kevin MacLean (Jane Boone), Dana MacLean; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Sunday, June 7^th from 3 to 5 p.m. The funeral service will be at the Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8^th with Pastor Jacob Ebbett officiating.
