Vada Boone

Vada Marion Giberson Boone of Woodstock, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock. Vada was born July 22, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Earle and Nellie (DeLong) Giberson. She was also predeceased by her husband George Boone; sister, Wilda Dyer; brother, Milton Giberson.

Vada is survived by her children, Dale (Elaine) Boone of Hartland, Arlie (Opal) Boone of Somerville, Richard (Susan) Boone of Hartland; grandchildren, Scott (Rachelle) Boone, Annette (Tim) Sprague, Greg (Teresa) Boone, Amanda Boone, George Boone; great grandchildren, Dawson Boone, Allyson Boone, Eric Arbeau, Evan Arbeau, Emily Arbeau, Daniel Boone, Courtney Foster; brother Leighton (Inez) Giberson of Somerville, nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, with visiting hours on Tuesday, July 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 7th at 2:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland with Rev. Michael Horsman officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland.
