Hanford W. Hathaway

Hanford Walter Hathaway of Mount Pleasant passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born June 13, 1925 and was the son of the late Daniel and Henrietta Hathaway. He was predeceased by his wife Marion and brothers, James and Burgess.

Hanford is survived by his daughters, Charlene (Arthur) Neilson of Fredericton, Pauline (Donald) Hillman of Mount Pleasant, Maxine Hathaway (Glenn Ripley) of Saint John; grandsons, Jonathan Neilson, Ryan Neilson; sisters, Jean (Darrell) Black of Newburg, Ethel (Gerald) Sewell of Pembroke, Doris (Leigh) Drost of Grafton; sister-in-law, Jean Hathaway of Irish Settlement.

Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Saturday from2-4 p.m. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Gray officiating. Interment will be in the Kinney Cemetery in Greenfield at a later date. If so desired donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
